Dream Cottages are delighted to offer The Granary and The Dairy located in this beautiful part of Dorset close to the market town of Beaminster.  Set in the peaceful, sheltered, secure and sunny stable courtyard of Whetley Farm, a classic 17th Century Ham stone house, the properties offer outstanding views of Lewsesdon Hill the highest point in Dorset.

Whetley Farm is set in an area of outstanding natural beauty crisscrossed by a well-signed footpath system for walking and enjoying the countryside. While the cottages are only 9 miles from the Jurassic Coast, with the lovely Beaminster Downs, Marshwood Vale, Lewesdon Hill, Pilsden Pen, Powerstock Forset, and Eggardon Hill all within a short drive,  walkers are spoilt for choice and the owners can provide local area walking maps and suggested walks.

It is just three quarters of a mile to the village of Mosterton with its very well stocked village shop, post office and village pub which serves a selection of simple food.

Guests are welcome to walk and exercise their dogs in the two acre paddock.  The paddock is being developing as a wood, arboretum and wild flower meadow and, by arrangement, you can feed the happy hens who live in the orchard.  Free range eggs for your breakfast are available from the owners. 

The stunning market town of Beaminster is two and a half  miles south of Whetley Farm - home to the Masterchef winner Mat Follas's highly acclaimed Wild Garlic restaurant.

These newly renovated properties offer a relaxing environment to get away from it all yet still being in a central location and easy driving distance to enjoy all Dorset has to offer.
